Jason Townsdin

I am a native of North Central Kansas, where I grew up on the family farm where we raised mostly crops, cattle, and hogs. My wife, Amanda, and I have made North Central Kansas our home. Amanda owns the Flower Gallery, located downtown Concordia for over 21yrs. I have been practicing accounting since 1994, when my Mother and I started the Tax Corner. I continued my entrepreneurship by starting up a trucking business with my cousin in 2003. Besides those businesses I have been in the farming industry all my life, as well as the rental business. Since 2019, during the spring and summer, my family grows a truck garden to sell at our produce at the Flower Gallery. In Fall of 2024 we started DELISH! Selling Charcuterie, NY Style Cheesecake, Cookies, Truffles, and Freeze Dried Food.

I was born and raised in California and lived in Alaska for 2 years before making my home in North Central Kansas.  I started doing taxes in 1977 when my son was 4 years old.  I went to work for a grain elevator that summer weighing and testing grain.  I continued doing taxes and working for grain elevators eventually working my way up to a Cooperative Accountant.  I held that position for over 18 years when I retired in 2007 and began working in my Tax and Accounting business full time.
